Privacy is everyone's responsibility! We value your confidence in us and take our obligation to protect the privacy of your financial information seriously. Our single purpose is to provide you with financial products and services to meet your financial goals. In order to provide our clients with a broad range of financial products and services as effectively and conveniently as possible, we use technology to manage and maintain client information. We believe these are the reasons you do business with us. We also believe you do your financial business with us because we have a strong history of protecting our customer's privacy. We are required by law to give you this privacy notice. It describes our policies and practices that protect your privacy. These practices are followed by us and our affiliates with regards to Mastercard SecureCode services.

What follows is a description of the information we collect and disclose, including the parties who receive nonpublic information from us.

Information We Collect About You "Nonpublic personal information" is information about you that we obtain in connection with providing a financial product or service. Such information includes for example, account balance, income, assets, payment history and overdraft history.

We may collect nonpublic personal information about you from the following sources:
  • Information we receive from you on applications or other forms;
  • Information about your transactions with us, our affiliates or others including those companies that work closely with us to provide you with diverse financial products and services;
  • Information we receive from credit reporting agencies;
  • Information obtained when verifying the information you provide on an application or other form(s) (this may be obtained from your
    current or past employers, or from other institutions where you conduct financial transactions)
We do not disclose any nonpublic personal information about our customers or former customers to anyone, except as permitted by law. These disclosures typically include information to process transactions on your behalf, conduct the operations of our bank, responding to subpoenas, and providing information to consumer reporting agencies such as credit bureaus.

We may disclose information we collect, as described above, to companies that perform marketing services on our behalf or to other financial institutions with whom we have joint marketing agreements so that we may provide our customers with competitive products and services.

We and our affiliates may also share your nonpublic personal information with each other as permitted by law.

Online Privacy We collect and use the information you provide us online to respond to your needs, service your accounts and provide you information about other services. This information is collected in order to aggregate information on what pages visitors access and is collected solely for statistical purposes and to determine visitor access to secure areas of our Web site. Temporary cookies are used in the secure online banking product. The cookies are common across an entire session and you must accept all cookies while accessing your account. All private data stored in cookies is encrypted. These temporary cookies are used as part of the stringent security measures in the online banking product. The temporary cookies keep the session alive until you log out properly or the online banking product times you out. A cookie does not retrieve data from your hard drive, carry computer viruses, or capture your email address.

What Customers Can Do To Help We are committed to protecting the privacy of our customers. You can help by following these simple guidelines:

  • Protect your account numbers, PINs (Personal Identification Numbers) and SecureCode™s. Never keep your PIN or SecureCode with your debit or credit card which can provide free access to your accounts if your card is lost or stolen.
  • Use caution when disclosing your account numbers, social security numbers, etc. to other persons. If someone calls you and explains the call is on behalf of your bank and asks for your account number, you should not give the information out. Official bank staff will already have access to your information and will not need to ask for it.
  • Keep your information current. If your address or phone number changes, please let us know as soon as possible.
