Mastercard SecureCode is an innovative service offering secure Internet shopping, using your preferred form of Internet payment - the debit card. Mastercard SecureCode lets you add a personal SecureCode to your existing card, getting added security and the reassurance that only you can use your card online.
When you purchase online, Mastercard SecureCode issues a receipt at the end of the checkout process. The receipt includes details of your current purchase, such as site name, purchase amount and date. You sign the receipt using your personal SecureCode and click "Submit" to proceed with the purchase. Without your SecureCode, the purchase cannot take place.
What are the system requirements for Mastercard SecureCode?

Why do I have to supply personal information during registration?
The personal information you are supplying is used as a security measure to make sure you are the real cardholder. The information you supply is verified against the data stored in your Financial Institution's database.
Can I use the same SecureCode for all of my Mastercard Check Cards?
Yes. When you register to Mastercard SecureCode you will enter your card number and select a SecureCode. You may select the same SecureCode for all your registered cards. You must select a SecureCode between 8-15 characters, which includes at least one number and one letter. We recommend that you select a SecureCode that will be easy for you to remember and difficult for others to guess.
The personal greeting is a text message (6-30 characters long) that you select during registration. This text should be personal, however not secret. Each time a Mastercard SecureCode receipt will be presented to you, you should look for the personal greeting - it proves it is a genuine receipt. Please note - you cannot select a personal greeting that will be identical to the SecureCode. Your SecureCode must be kept secret, while the personal greeting is openly displayed on the receipt.

When you activate Mastercard SecureCode during shopping, a pre-assigned personal greeting that Mastercard SecureCode had selected for you is displayed. When you pay online, always look for your personal greeting before you enter your SecureCode to ensure that you're using the authentic Mastercard SecureCode service. After activating Mastercard SecureCode you receive an e-mail message with a link. We recommend that you click on this link and create a new, truly personal greeting. Please note that your personal greeting must not be similar to your SecureCode.
I activated Mastercard SecureCode. Can I activate it for additional cards?
After you activate Mastercard SecureCode for one card, you are welcome to add to the service any of your debit cards. This includes your Financial Institution's branded cards as well as our partner cards. To activate additional cards , click here.

What should I do if I purchase online but the Mastercard SecureCode receipt does not appear?
First, check to make sure that the card you used for the purchase is one that you have registered with the Mastercard SecureCode service. Second, determine whether the merchant is a participating merchant. If the merchant is participating and you are using the right card, contact the merchant's customer service center.
If you forgot your SecureCode, select the Forgot your SecureCode, click here link that appears on the receipt. In the following page, type your Card Number , then enter the required information on your card. You will then be able to select a new SecureCode.
I don't see my personal greeting on the receipt. What should I do?
Always look for your personal greeting before entering your SecureCode. If your personal greeting does not appear on the receipt, please do not sign it and contact your Financial Institution's customer service personnel.

The Personal Account Manager is a special service, which helps you trace the receipts of your Mastercard SecureCode transactions. In addition, it enables you to change your account settings: change your e-mail address, SecureCode, and personal greeting.
I am trying to login to the Personal Account Manager but I forgot my SecureCode. What should I do?
If you forgot your SecureCode, select the Forgot your SecureCode, click here link that appears on the Personal Account Manager login. In the following page, type your Card Number then enter your account information in the required fields. You will then be able to select a new SecureCode.
In the Personal Account Manager,access Manage Your Profile, and select Change your SecureCode. You will be required to enter the old SecureCode, select a new SecureCode and retype it for verification. You must select a SecureCode between 8-15 characters, which includes at least one number and one letter. You may not use SecureCodes that you have used in the past. We recommend that you select a SecureCode that will be easy for you to remember and difficult for others to guess.

Your old personal greeting will be presented, and you will be able to select a new personal greeting. (6-30 characters long). Please note that your personal greeting must not resemble your SecureCode.
Your e-mail address is used for important Mastercard SecureCode notifications. It is therefore important that you keep the e-mail address in the Mastercard SecureCode service updated. In the Personal Account Manager, access Manage Your Profile, and select Update your e-mail. Your old e-mail will be presented, and you will be able to enter a new one.
